Repeat Prescriptions

Prescriptions if unable to use online services – Loth.prescriptions76180@nhs.scot

We have various ways in which you can request your repeat prescription

  • You can now order online via the link at the top of this page. First-time users are required to complete a simple one-off registration using this form.
  • Post or drop off your repeat prescription order form; which is on the right-hand side of your prescription either into the practice or pharmacy of your choice; please ensure this is the most up to date list.
  • Speak to your GP or pharmacist to arrange your medication through our Chronic Medication Service (CMS)

If you are unsure of any of these options, please do not hesitate to contact a member of our reception team to assist you with your query.

Please ensure you order your repeat medication in plenty of time taking into consideration that Pharmacies require at least 48 hours to process.

Please allow 5 working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. Also, don’t forget that both chemists in Dunbar are closed on Saturday afternoons.

Medication Review

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions
