We are very lucky to have use of beds on ward 2 at Belhaven Hospital for short stay patients who require more nursing care than they can have at home but who not require the intensive care of the hospitals in Edinburgh.
Please remember there are no X-ray or minor injuries facilities at Belhaven nor a casualty service at Roodlands. The nearest full accident and emergency department is at The New Royal Infirmary at Little France in Edinburgh. Routine X-rays (such as chest X-Rays) can be performed at Roodlands Hospital in Haddington, but only after discussion with the doctor.
